Traffic Exchanges and Co-ops

If you downloaded this report chances are you got here from a traffic exchange. The idea behind a traffic exchange is quite simple, you view ads in exchange for credits which you then use to purchase views yourself. A co-op works somewhat differently in that you trade views in a network of sites. For example, you may show a co-op page on one traffic exchange and earned credits towards views on an entire network of sites. The advantage here is that you reach a more diverse audience outside of the audience on your favorite traffic exchange. However, some traffic exchanges don’t allow co-op links because they could contain sites that violate their TOS. It can all get very complicated. The idea though is to get easy credits and convert them to higher quality credits.

ClickVoyager

The main site I use for creating credits is **ClickVoyager.** At first it may not seem like the best site but there is a strategy. Every Sunday they run a promo that allows you to earn a SilverMembership for a week. If you continue to at least complete the promo each week you’ll rack up thousands of credits. This site also has no timer but only requires each page to load fully before the next click. You can then use these credits to promote co-ops and other traffic exchanges.

The sites I primarily use are:

Traffic G

Traffic G is a one to one exhange meaning for each site you visit you’ll get one visit in return. The timer is a bit long at 10 seconds which can be a good thing and a bad thing. It means it will take longer to accrue traffic credits. However, those credits are more vauable because your site will be seen for at least 10 seconds. This gives you a better chance of making conversions and getting opt ins.

You can also earn credits through their coop link. You’ll earn 0.5 credits each time you share the coop link. The page must be shown for 6 seconds to count as a credit. The coop page also helps to promote Traffic G referrals which are rewarded 5 levels deep. To use the coop do the following:

  1. First you’ll need to sign up for an account here. This site has a lot to offer although the design may look a bit basic.
  2. Pick up your co-op link and start earning credits. You’ll navigate to the left sidebar and click on StartPage Exchange under the Heading Other Services.
  3. Your coop link should look something this:

https://trafficg.com/hps.php?member=[username]

My Traffic Partners

This site works a little differently in that you don’t earn credits but what are called priority points. How many priority points you have determines how many times your ad is shown. There are two ways to earn priority points, surfing the exchange or sharing splash pages. The splash page will promote the site while also advertising member sites*.* There are two teirs to the traffic and commisions free and paid. Paid members get three times as much traffic as free member and the commission is bumped up to 50%. To grab your coop link do the following:

  1. Sign up for My Traffic Partners.
  2. Next, you’ll want to go to the Affiliates section of the left sidebar. From the Home tab you’ll want to check that you want to show Hinge Ads and Related Ads on your Splash Pages.
  3. These ads will earn you credit towards your ads being shown on the platform. Now, go to the Splash Pages tab and choose a splash page to promote.
